11/2018 REVIEW FOR THE EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS PROGRAM How wonderful it would be for our communities to have everyone trained to meet the disaster that is likely to occur in our Bay Area (earthquake, fire, flood, etc.)! Chris’s entertaining presentation eases any frustration a reluctant student might have in having to devote several hours from his or her weekend sitting in a classroom. Although everything Chris taught I had experienced through multiple classes over many years with Marin Medical Reserve Corps and CERT, today’s (11/3/18) experience was considerably easier to absorb and retain. Chris’s constructive use of time, with two brief bathroom/snack breaks, was greatly appreciated. The hours were efficiently used, and humor made learning a delight. I am sure everyone walked out of the hall feeling far more comfortable about being able to meet a stroke, fracture, heart attack, burn, seizure, diabetes attack, excessive bleeding, etc., emergency.
